The next afternoon I met Andrew for the first time, and we hit it off beautifully. By the way, Andrew is headed into the Marines right after graduation from Brazoswood. Between now and then he'll also be spending as much time in the great outdoors as possible.
And THEN I had the triple pleasure of hanging out with Megan, Melissa, and their mom-who-could-be-their-triplet Penny. What fun to work with two young ladies who are even more beautiful on the inside than the outside!
This is Megan, the ever so slightly older and bolder sister.
And this is Melissa, the quietly radiant slightly younger sister.
I have been richly blessed with seniors this year. Even though I've lumped you all together here, I am delighted by each of your one-of-a-kind personalities. You are wonderfully made down to the tiniest dot over your eyebrow (Megan), the number of freckles sprinkled across your nose (Andrew and Melissa), and your steadfast refusal to stick even a toe into the early spring Gulf of Mexico (Reagan). What an awesome job I have!
So, friends, take a firm stand, feet on the ground and head high.
Keep a tight grip on what you were taught.
May Jesus Himself and God our Father,
who reached out in love and surprised you with gifts of unending help and confidence,
put a fresh heart in you,
invigorate your work,
enliven your speech.
