Casey is pretty much the cutest Longhorn to ever graduate from UT.

We had so much fun during her Super Senior Shoot! We wandered around campus looking for interesting spots and important landmarks, such as the one and only Barbara Jordan ...

... the Tower and its main entrance area ...

... and a dorm with classic architectural features. No matter where we stopped to shoot, Casey simply sparkled, don't you think?

We also ventured out into some of the weirdness that makes Austin, well, Austin.

I don't think anyone found it the least bit weird that Casey was hopping along the sidewalk like a frog. Or maybe they were just too polite to honk.

Casey told me the name of this bridge but I forgot it. I was too mesmerized by her adorableness to listen closely, I guess.

I liked this spot along the railroad tracks because it looked like we could hop on a train into Oz. By this point we were completely walked out and were mercifully spared a mad dash out of the path of any oncoming locomotives. But look how lovely Casey still was!

We rejoined our even-more-worn-out cheering squad, which included Casey's cousin Lori and sister Carly.

Add in moms Nancy and Angela and you've got a crew that you'd best not mess with. Or keep waiting for dinner a moment longer.

I'm so glad you asked me to come and create these portraits with you, Casey. I've admired you from afar for years now, and it's wonderful to finally be bestest friends for reals. You truly are beautiful inside and out, a luminous woman of God! I hope you enjoy your graduate school adventures and return home to Texas as soon as possible. I'm sure I will need many many hours of in-depth counseling by that time, and you'll be just the person to help me. Now -- let's do this again sometime, ladies! Say in October? In Dallas? For Carly's bridal session!!!

God is love.
When we take up permanent residence in a life of love,
we live in God and God lives in us.
This way, love has the run of the house,
becomes at home and mature in us,
so that we're free of worry on Judgment Day --
our standing in the world is identical with Christ's.
We are going to love --
love and be loved.
First we were loved, now we love.
He loved us first.
